Acquired Taste is a premium spirits brand, imported and founded by Mingo Imports L.L.C of Buffalo, NY. Acquired Taste is one of the first Buffalo-based spirit brands to offer premium Cognac to the Western New York region. Our Buffalo-based company has embarked on the development of a product line that consists of high-quality distilled products from our producer in Cognac, France.

 

Our producer comes from a family business with over 40 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry. Having worked with some of the top Cognac brands such as Martell and Courvoisier, the family has become true masters of their craft. Acquired Taste Premium Cognac is produced using some of the industry's oldest distilling techniques including the use of limousin oak barrels for aging.

 

As for the great taste, this is contributed to the selection of harvest, which derives from the variety Ugni Blanc and Colombard in Cognac, France. We are committed to working closely with our producer and will continue to take a hands-on approach to the design and development of top-quality products for those in search of a unique taste.
